Senior Planning Engineer - Fit Out

Job description / Role

Our client a leading Contractor based in Dubai is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join their team.

- Overseeing the scheduling activities for large projects with a demonstrated skill in identifying,
analysing and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems.
- Maintaining & updating the schedule in line with contractors’ updates and contract changes.
- Working with the PM and site construction team ensuring that the operational constraints,
logistics and phasing considerations are reflected in the master schedule.
- Preparation and evaluation with period progress updates.

Requirements

- Must have at least 7-10 years in Planning monitoring-control, delay analysis (min 5 years in fit out industry).
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering.
- Possess PSP, PMP certification (preferably).
- Has expertise managing demanding clients and consultant planners.
- Certification Oracle Primavera P6.
- Good knowledge in MS office & other presentation packages.
- Possess very good understanding of Interior Fit out, Joinery & MEP activities, statutory approvals related to fit out projects & other interfacing activities.
- Aware of manpower productivity rates for Fit out & MEP activities.
- Experienced in delay analysis & EOT preparation.
