Senior Private Banker

Charterhouse is working with an industry-leading financial institution that specialises in private banking, investment management, as well as wealth and asset advisory. Our client is part of a global group that has offices in some of the largest financial centres in the world, and they are looking to hire an experienced Senior Private Banker to help grow their AUM in the region.

The Senior Private Banker will be expected to secure and manage the investments of HNI and UHNI both in the region and internationally. This role will be required to have extensive experience with managing this level of clientele and should be able to provide suitable investment management solutions that are in line with the client’s aspirations and risk appetite.

In addition, the Banker shall serve as the trusted advisor to both new and existing clients by showing excellent communication and knowledge regarding the investment products and solutions that are available.

A significant part of this role will be to identify and secure new clients in order to increase AUM. This can also be achieved by bringing an existing book of clients over to transfer the AUM. All functions of this role must be carried with adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have experience with managing a minimum of USD 50 million in AUM, and should be confident in transferring this AUM upon joining.

Our client is looking to hire someone who is extremely self-motivated and entrepreneurial, capable of managing and growing a large book of HNI and UHNI clients. The ideal candidate will have previous private banking experience, along with a transferable book of discretionary managed investments. The candidate must possess excellent knowledge of the financial markets and the investment solutions that will be offered to the clients.
