Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer will be providing the engineering expertise and knowledge to implement enterprise level IT integration and energy management solutions. The role requires planning, scheduling, implementing & monitoring of project activities apart from liaising with clients and suppliers with respect to the project requirements. Candidates should be willing to travel and work on projects assigned in the Middle East region as required.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Carry out site visits, audits and client coordination’s for proposal preparation
• Design, prepare method statement, engineering drawings, as built drawings etc to support proposals, and commissioning of the project
• Provide technical support and maintain documentation as required to execute the project
• Plan, schedule and report on project activities and progress
• Implement and execute the project within the agreed time frame with the client
• Interact with suppliers/OEM’s for pricing and technical design
• Provide timely information for raising invoices and support payment collection team during the execution of the project
• Coordinate project implementation with internal overseas technical team

Requirements

Qualifications required:

• Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer, IT or Electronics
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience of project execution and management, related to automation or energy management, IoT gateways or IT enterprise applications in Middle East region.
• Basic knowledge or past experience of Linux programming, networking, IT server configurations is preferable
• Good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and MS Projects.
• Solid verbal and written communications skills in English.
