Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

- A brand new opportunity is available to work as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for an Architectural & Engineering Consultancy in Abu Dhabi where you will be working on one of their high profile projects/contracts within the UAE.
- As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working closely with the client evaluating all claims and extension of time.
- Review the tender estimate provided by the Quantity Surveyor.
- Monitor all Project correspondence for commercial issues and initiate commercial correspondence.
- Coordinating with the Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed monthly cost schedules available for each work contract.
- Prepare cash flows and claims documentation.
- Verification of Contractors interim payments requests, variations and claims.

Requirements

- Must have a 8 to 10 years experience.
- Must have 5 years GCC/Middle East experience with the majority of the 5 years working in the UAE.
- Must be degree qualified in either Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Strong experience in claims and evaluating claims is a necessity.
- Pre & Post contract experience
- FIDIC
