Senior Quantity Surveyor - Dubai, UAE
Our client is a major British building contractor operating internationally. They have several projects world-wide and continue to expand their international presence, utilising their reputation and experience in quality flagship projects to make an impact globally.
They presently have need for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Your duties will include:
* Collating, reporting and interrogating projects costs,
* Effectively managing the resources of projects lifecycle,
* Monitoring of commercial support to the project managers and the project delivery team,
* Managing and reducing unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 12 years experience and will be degree qualified. It is essential that you have experience with large construction contracting companies, preferably in the Middle East (2+ years experience).
Requirements
* Experience working in the Middle East for a blue chip contractor
* Necessarily degree qualified & ideally RICS
* Must be commercially astute
* Strong knowledge of planning and programming to ensure accurate progress reporting
* A minimum of 12 years experience
