Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a main contractor based in Abu Dhabi. Candidates need to have experience working on infrastructure/landscaping projects. You will play a pivotal role in managing the commercial aspects of my client’s projects in Abu Dhabi.

• The role reports into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, managing budgets, and ensuring cost control measures are implemented effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the successful delivery of high-quality landscaping projects in the infrastructure sector.

Salary:
AED 18,000 to 24,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying. RICS accreditation is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying roles, with a focus on infrastructure landscaping projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial aspects of large-scale projects, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost-estimating techniques, and contract administration procedures.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with local regulations, standards, and practices related to landscaping and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Fluency in English is required. Arabic language skills are desirable.
