Job description / Role
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required for a highly regarded Building Contractor in the UAE, they are looking for a high calibre candidate who has the ability to work in a professionally challenging environment.
• As an SQS you will be expected to lead, manage and coordinate the production of procurement packages for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Lead, manage and coordinate the development of budget.
• Oversee the issuing of requests for quotations to suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Verifying quotations.
• Provide invoices.
• Preparation of monthly payment certificates and all supporting documents.
• Be able to undertake commercial management services with limited supervision.
• Deliver all work outputs in an accurately and timely manner.
• Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership
Requirements
Requirements:
• Degree qualified.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Experience on mixed use, residential, commercial type projects for a Main Contractor required, ideally with leading projects commercially in the range of 100 million to 200 million aed.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English (verbal & written).
