We are seeking a talented, driven, and highly analytical individual for an exciting new opportunity to drive continuous expansion and improvement of our regional fulfillment network. The successful candidate will thrive in a constantly evolving business environment and work well with cross functional teams. They will use their data analysis skills and expertise in planning to lead solutions to complex fulfillment challenges and are comfortable presenting results to senior leadership. They will be able to quickly analyze large data sets to identify complex patterns and relationships resulting in operational solutions to real business problems. They will play an integral part in Souq.com inventory management by successfully partnering with various operational teams like Warehouse Operations, IT, Retail and Finance to help support new business initiatives.

This role offers an opportunity to make business-critical decisions that will minimize fulfillment costs while continuing to increase the speed at which we deliver our customers' orders. The role is a planning and execution role, meaning the successful candidate will not only generate the plan but also monitor execution and take corrective action and steering where needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical area such as Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar; or 2+ year's Amazon Experience
- 7+ years of supply chain management/design experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with SQL (or another query language)
- Experience processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities (100K to Millions of rows) of data as well as developing data models
- Experience analyzing data and communicating effectively with VP level decision makers
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and deliver initiatives
- Proven track record of experience with supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics - gained through work experience or graduate level education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role requires effective communication with colleagues from computer science, operations research and business backgrounds
- A track record of creative problem solving using software systems and the desire to create and build new processes
- Able to perform and deliver under tight timelines and communicate efficiently with Associates and Senior Executives
- Self-motivated and self-driven achiever with an aptitude for teamwork and team-learning
- Proficiency with supply and demand planning tools
- Good knowledge and understanding of cost drivers in the value chain (supply and demand levers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or another quantitative discipline
- Prior use of Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques
- Proven track record of Logistics and Supply Chain Operational Background.
