An exciting opportunity to join a leading player in the fragrances, skincare industry to manage their commercial activities across the MEA region.
Client Details
A business in operation in the region for over a decade and a half, they have a portfolio of some of the leading brands and a portfolio of growing niches in the fragrance space. Backed by a strong leadership team, they are looking for someone entrepreneurial to grow the commercial activities in the region.
Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, this person will be responsible for;
* Managing a direct sales and distributor model across the MEA region
* Negotiating with global brands not present in the region to potentially on board them and setup distribution plans
* Building the market strategy to generate higher revenue and locate the gaps in the market to open new channels for relevant skills
* Scouting for distributors across wider markets to expand distribution
* Monitoring merchandising standards, planogram, and product visibility in the market and guide the distributor wherever adjustments are required
Job Offer
* AED 360,000 - AED 480,000 + Bonus, Medical, Flights
* Profit sharing options down the line
Requirements
To apply for the role, it is necessary for the candidate to have the following
* At least 8 years of commercial sales/BD experience in Perfumes, Cosmetics, Skincare, Beauty, Dermacare categories across MEA or GCC (Strong preference for UAE and KSA experience) OR Atleast 10 years in FMCG Non Food category experience in the Middle East
* Must have either managed distributors or led a key account team across the region (This is an independent role managing distributors with no direct reports at this moment)
* Ability to work in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment - The business is investing massively in this region and this business unit is an area of focus
