Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

To contribute towards promoting the Bank in the region and strive towards achieving and exceeding assigned targets whilst building the customer portfolio. The incumbent must be able to identify potential customers, provide sound financial advice, develop professional working relationships and obtain valuable feedback from the market.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Achieve the monthly sales target set by the Bank on Credit Cards.
• Effectively track monthly achievements to work towards meeting or exceeding individual targets.
• Develop networks and maintain professional working relationships to meet current and future financial requirements of customers.
• Arrange appointments with potential and existing customers for maintaining an effective work planner.
• Ensure appointments are timely met whilst presenting oneself with high degree of professionalism. Rescheduling must be managed effectively to avoid appointment conflicts.
• Gather market and customer information which could be useful to understand trends.
• Represent the Bank at exhibitions, events and demonstrations, as and when required.
• Must be up-to-date with products, features, charges, policies and processes in order to provide accurate information to customers and meet customers' financial expectations effectively.
• Provide complete and accurate information on the documentation requirements in order to minimize multiple customer visits/calls as well as reduce the rework rate.
• Ensure that application details are accurately updated in the system to avoid system related reworks.
• Maintain timely follow-ups on all the cases submitted and customers must be regularly updated of the status.
• Ensure lead referrals, of non-core products, are timely forwarded to relevant units
• Provide a weekly activity report summarizing the status of customer visits, target achievements and highlighting follow-ups, pipeline cases, issues and changes, if any.
• Attend team meetings and actively participate in sharing best practices and process improvement.
• Attend training sessions, as and when conducted, whilst ensuring minimal impact on target achievements, customer visits and follow-ups.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 3 to 4 year of experience in Retail Product Credit Cards Sales

An Emiri Decree issued by His Highness the Late Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the founder of modern Dubai, laid the cornerstone of Commercial Bank of Dubai. We started out as a joint venture of Commerzbank, Chase Manhattan Bank and Commercial Bank of Kuwait. A minority stake was held by a few UAE businessmen.

By 1982, little more than a decade later, we evolved into a National Public Shareholding company. A feat complimented by an exponential increase in the capital base and mammoth restructuring of our operations. The feather in the cap came when the Government of Dubai became a key shareholder.
