Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose: To Develop and Analyze MIS reports pertaining to RETAIL/SME Banking products

Key responsibilities:
- Monthly report to be submitted to the Retail/SME Policy Head on the booking trends / portfolio presentation.
- Monthly report on the deviation number exceeding norms
- Monthly report on incremental bookings from policy changes
- Assisting Retail/SME Analytics Manager to develop Portfolio indicators through review
- Monthly MIS packs for all Retail/SME products
- Monthly report on the delinquent cases / / Provision cases
- Prepare the Retail/SME Policy Head in Portfolio risk management by providing necessary inputs and reports
- Provision calculation for Retail/SME products
- Preparing campaign base to create new business opportunity
- Assisting Manager-Risk Analytics in all projects
- Preparing Calling/Recovery/Skip/Non Starter/Cheque return list
- Preparing Daily delinquency/Attempts/contact/PTP details
- All adhoc reports pertaining to Retail/SME from various departments within the Bank
- Play as a effective backup to Manager - Risk analytics

Activities / Operations
- Periodically meet the Credit team for training and resolving issues pertaining to MIS
- Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Policy team to understand the MIS required by them to facilitate decision making

Compliance
- Adhere and comply with applicable ADCB’s internal policies and procedures as well as governing regulations issued by concerned authorities
- Cooperate and facilitate work of internal audit and risk management to address gaps, and respond to audit reports within agreed deadlines

Financial Targets
- Will not assume any personal financial targets

Job Dimensions

Quantifiable
- Error rates in MIS generated to be minimal
- Turnaround time for MIS reports to be as per the agreed SLA

Non quantifiable
- High standards of customer service. – Internal / External
- Attitudes and personal behaviour.
- Compliance with ADCB related policies and procedures

Key Results
- Prepare and analyze risk MIS pertaining to Retail/SME portfolio which would assist the stake holders( Policy Manager, Head of Retail/SME credit, Head of Consumer credit risk) to take decisions pertaining to portfolio and Retail/SME policies

Requirements

- Preferably Master Degree in a relevant subject (business, accounting & finance, Information Technology)
- Preferably Certificate course in IT programming
- Preferably 3 years experience in analytics function (Retail /SME)

Specialist Skills/Training required for the Job:
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have basic knowledge of risk concepts and banking products
- Expert Knowledge in SQL , Database management and MS office
- Effective communicator in any medium, internally and externally
- Determined and self-motivated
- Team player – inspires and encourages excellent performance in others to achieve common goals
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
