Job description / Role
• Traveling to various sites to complete physical inspections and site supervision.
• Control and manage site activities/progress through reports from sites.
• Conduct design and site coordination meetings
• Site planning, allocation of resources and monitoring the process on sites.
• Ensure coordination among various departments like MEP, Structural and sub-consultant / specifications such as aluminum, pre-cast, landscaping etc.
• Propose improved solutions on technical issues on site.
• Advising contractors on the interpretation of plans and specifications, approving minor design changes in the course of construction.
• Participates in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project handover.
• Provide support to operations Manager to ensure projects run smoothly in areas of architecture by providing knowledge and advice.
• Liaises with Design Architect on modifications required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum 10 years of total experience
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience
• Previous experience with reputable fit out or general contractor is a plus.
• Resident in Dubai
• English: Fluent
• UAE driving license and own car
• Should be well versed with AutoCAD MS office & Outlook, preferably working knowledge in MS project and/or primavera.
