Senior Site Architect, Dubai - Top Tier Consultant
Client is a global leader in architecture and design with a presence internationally across a number of major cities and with a reputation for delivering some of the world’s leading projects. Due to their fantastic reputation the highest quality designs they are able to be selective in which projects they undertake and as a result, maintain a client base of some of the leading developers and operators. Their success has come from both their design ability and their understanding of these select client, with their aim to produce creative concepts that are unique to each project.
Currently working on the design and deliver of one most prestigious projects in Dubai, they are actively looking for a Senior Site Architect to oversee the design implementation on site.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Attend client meeting with the Director.
- Prepares architectural details as and when required for execution of works.
- Ensure that the architect’s design is delivered by the contractor and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems that arise.
- Addresses modifications desired by Client in co-ordination with Design Architect.
- Assists Project Manager in review and selection of architectural materials are in compliance with approved material submittals. Issues all architectural correspondences.
- Highlights any violations to architectural related issues on site
- Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist Project Manager in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in project’s drawings.
Requirements
- Min 15 years Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on projects in the GCC
- Leadership skills
- Experience in hospitality/commercial projects/healthcare projects is an advantage
- Good understanding of Middle East Building Codes with a Middle East Experience is a plus but not a necessity
- Strong communication skills in English. Russian would be beneficial but is in no way necessary
- Knowledge of Revit software is a plus but not essential
- Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple tasks
