Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE:

Monitor and advice on ESG trends in competitor landscape. Monitor and advise on international ESG regulatory development and ADNOC responses to ensure effective ESG risk management and positioning. Develop ESG engagement presentations to support investor roadshows and provide responses to bank ESG queries. Review and advice on compliance of Sustainability/ESG reports of ADNOC listed companies with ESG reporting requirements (local and international). Co-create internal ESG policies to future proof the business.

Job Specific Accountabilities

ESG Strategies and Initiatives
- Provides analysis on emerging trends in the market in collaboration with peers.
- Monitor and analyse the report and develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans, to ensure corporate sustainable development.
- Liaise with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies to build competent environmental development efforts.
- Assist in creating awareness on key environmental issues, environmental requirements and compliance.
- Monitor and assist in incident investigations and verifies implementation of corrective action.

Benchmarking and Reporting
- Review and Performs statistical analysis, prepares reports, maintains appropriate compliance records and files required documents with various regulatory agencies within stated deadlines.
- Review and prepares and manages contracts with suppliers and consultants for major projects and routine activities.
- Contribute to developing systems, procedures and guidelines with defined accountabilities and responsibilities

Communication and Networking
- Represent the company in ESG events and sessions at ADNOC and local authorities, as required.
- Network with ADNOC sustainability representatives to assess best practices, suitable for implementation where necessary.
- Communicate and train personnel on aspects of ESG as and when necessary to support the organization's capability and engagement
- Educate, train, discuss and communicate the related employees and stakeholders to ensure understanding and of the policy, framework, goals, initiatives.

Supervision
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.

Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
