Description
Job Role: Senior Staff Nurse (Adult/Paediatric)
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role: Overall responsibility for ensuring safe, effective, age and specialty appropriate patient care is delivered according to the Nursing Scope of Practice, as defined by the regulatory body in an interdisciplinary environment. Responsible for Managing & leading a team of nursing staff.

Qualification
- Successful completion of BS in Nursing from an accredited program (Adult/Pediatric/Combined)
- Certification/diploma/post grad qualifications in related fields either clinical or administrative showing personal development.
License
- DOH-Abu Dhabi, or transferable UAE license as a Registered Nurse or home country license eligible for DOH License, UAE
Experience
- Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience in settings including inpatient/long term residential/community care (adult/pediatric).
- Experience with a neurologically impaired population with +/- experience in the handling of cognitively and behaviorally challenged patients (adults/pediatrics) +/- varying degrees of physical limitations.
- Experience as shift coordinator, Leadership and mentoring, performance appraisal, competency assessment, performance development, and the recruitment of team members
