Job description / Role
Our client, a large medical facility, is currently looking fora Senior Staff Nurses (5) to be based in Abu Dhabi. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Carries out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s condition.
• Maintains privacy and dignity of all patients whilst adhering to trust and department policies, reporting any difficulties you have not been able to solve to Department Head
• Maintains a safe environment when caring for patients, including those patients requiring frequent levels of monitoring.
• Monitors all patient care and treatment, maintaining high standards and quality at all times.
• Carries out instructions from the nurse in charge and implements treatments ordered by members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Prioritises nursing care, recognises deterioration in a patient’s condition and escalate to the site team/clinician immediately.
• Maintains accurate, contemporaneous and legible written records of care.
• Ensures effective communication with all levels of staff including the whole multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor degree holder in nursing
• Minimum 8 years of nursing experience, of which 2 years in a leading role
• Have worked in the ICU or medical surgical department in a large hospital
• Must have a valid home medical license
• Must have a valid BLS certificate
• Should have a HAAD license or eligibility
• Willing to work for 48 hours per week
• Willing to be assigned to work in morning / night shift
