Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration and Solution Design:
• Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Collaborate with our consulting teams to design tailored infrastructure, server, and storage solutions that align with client objectives.
• Leverage your virtualization expertise to recommend and implement scalable virtual environments.

Implementation and Deployment:
• Lead the deployment and configuration of servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure for clients.
• Ensure seamless integration of virtualization technologies to optimize resource utilization and enhance efficiency.
• Oversee the installation and setup of backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Performance Enhancement:
• Analyze and assess client systems for performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Implement optimization strategies to enhance system performance, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate with clients to fine-tune server and storage configurations for optimal results.

Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning:
• Develop comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies tailored to each client's specific business needs.
• Regularly review and update disaster recovery plans to ensure readiness for unexpected events.
• Lead testing exercises to validate the effectiveness of backup and recovery processes.

Technical Expertise and Support:
• Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to clients, addressing complex challenges and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues that may arise.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
• Maintain meticulous documentation of project plans, system configurations, and procedures.
• Contribute to the creation of technical knowledge resources for internal and client use.

Emerging Technologies and Innovation:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Provide thought leadership and recommendations for incorporating innovative solutions into client projects.

AMC Solution Planning and Delivery:
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their AMC requirements, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Design tailored AMC solutions that align with client needs, ensuring optimal system performance and longevity.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience (X+ years) as a Systems Engineer with a focus on infrastructure, servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery in a consultancy or client-facing role.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions using industry-leading server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with clients and internal teams.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VCP, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic client environments and deliver exceptional results.
• Adept at problem-solving and creative thinking to address unique client challenges.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
