Senior Technical Architect
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 35,000 40,000 AED per month

You will join a creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence.
They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our Abu Dhabi studio. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience. The position requires both strong exterior building envelope and interiors detailing experience, along with strong construction administration and specification writing experience. Familiarity with BIM /REVIT along with development, implementation and monitoring of QA/QC processes is a plus. Candidates must be team oriented with a passion for mentoring and teaching.

Office Responsibilities:
Provide mentorship and lead internal technical educational programs for the office.
Guide project teams and solve complex issues.
Oversee technical design quality control and quality assurance for the office.
Contribute with other technical leaders across the firm to ensure firm's technical standards and restrictions are being applied.

Project Responsibilities:
Lead the Technical Design effort of projects.
Provide technical leadership on projects to be sure they are in concert with project scope, design, budget, client goals and core requirements.

Requirements

Senior Technical Architect

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Architecture.
Extensive experience overseeing the technical design on Architecture and Corporate Interiors projects, leading project teams, project management, and being responsible for project delivery.
Experience with Revit, Cad and other documentation software.
Excellent communication and management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff members and clients.
Extensive experience in Construction Contract Administration, and knowledge of construction types and systems (including roofing/waterproofing, exterior enclosures, and primary building systems, and CA software).
Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be done.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skills.
GCC experience is essential, and UAE experience is highly desirable.
