Our client is a global leader in providing workforce solutions. The service provider is looking to hire an experienced Senior Treasury Accountant/ Manager to take ownership over the planning, organizing and controlling all aspects of the treasury function

Client Details

• A part of world's leading workforce solutions provider brand, our client provides those services in several engineering industries and on per project basis. They have introduced a position of Senior Treasury Accountant/ Manager for their Dubai Office.

Description

• Reporting directly to the Regional Financial Controller; this Senior Treasury Accountant will be responsible to/for:
• Be the point of contact of all the banks along with managing bank accounts of the region
• Ensure sufficient funds are held in the correct currency through trading.
• Liaising with the centre in case of shortage of funds in the region
• Coordinate financial and payroll areas, ensuring timely submission of time sheets and payroll reports
• Cover all aspects of accounts payable management
• Interact reporting issues with the parent firm
• Understand and adhere to IFRS, financial regulations and legislation
• Working on monthly cash and bank reconciliations, ledger postings and month end reports
• Ensure timely payments to all contractors across the region including WPS, advances and expenses
• Be a local point of contact for the central treasury team in the United Kingdom
• Ensure relations with various banks across the region
• Arrangement of country financing with third parties, tender and performance bonds
• Oversee financial reports of the company as well as inter company reports
• Growth and progress of the Reporting Team- treasury accountants in the region.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this Senior Treasury Accountant;

• Should have 5+ years of experience with accounting and treasury
• Should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent (preferred)
• Hands on experience with handling stakeholders, optimizing cash, VAT treatment, forecast reporting
• Should be technically strong with accounting know-how, numerical ability and excel
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership and lead a team
• Microsoft Office and Tempest experience preferred
• Should be able to work under pressure
