Senior Windows Administrator - Tech

Job description / Role

Sr. System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing availability and performance of the group IT systems and will also contribute to the completion of project tasks to enhance systems functionality, capacity, and performance.

Requirements

Years of experience: 7 - 10 years of hands-on experience at an enterprise level

Competencies:
• Maintain Up-time of systems to 99%
• Patches raised to change management process in a timely fashion
• Patching implemented in a timely fashion after appropriate testing and sign off on change window
• System documentation is kept up to date and accurate
• Problems are investigated in a reasonable timeframe
• Proper Documentation of problem resolutions in the ticketing system
• Response time to system failures is less than an hour\
• Document Analysis
• Interface Analysis
• Root Cause Analysis

Required Certifications:
• MCSE with formal training on (System Center, Exchange, and windows Infrastructure. Active directory)
• ITIL

Must have obtained formal training/certifications in at least 4 certificates from the below
• PMP
• CCNA/CCNP
• VMware
• Ethical Hacking
• CISSP
• CISA
• CommVault Training
• EMC Storage Administration

Special skills:
• Interface Analysis
• Root Cause Analysis
