Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for airside catering operations, the management of the entire company fleet operating both airside and landside, managing relationships with airline clients and the potwash/dishwash teams.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient rosters are in place to service all client requirements during peak and off peak periods
• Develop, maintain and improve service level agreements with airline clients to ensure efficient loading and unloading of inflight catering products
• Manage all processes relating to the loading and unloading of inflight catering or buy-on-board products including inventory checks at the store, on flight loading, at arrival and finally when receiving at the stores
• Maintain relationships with airline clients on a consistent basis and resolve any escalations or ad-hoc requirements
• Ensure optimum use of all company vehicles including High loaders, Vans, Mini Busses and light vehicles
• Ensure all company vehicles are maintained through regular servicing and ensure all legal requirements for vehicles including registration and insurance are up to date
• Cater to all internal departments transportation requirements which may include deliveries to external catering outlets, catering events, management or guest transportation
• Develop, maintain and improve service level agreements for the efficient management of both potwash and dishwash teams
• Defines the objectives of the team, trains, empowers and supports independent and creative thinking to strengthen the team based effort
• Responsible for the recruitment of staff within his departments, and the development of succession planning for the team
• Coordinates with other dnata group companies for knowledge sharing and learning

Requirements

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
• 10 years operations experience in aviation or logistics industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a management position
• Excellent English written and verbal skills
