The Role:

In this role, you will:

- Work with the OS Administration and Engineering Section and application development groups to ensure that they have the resources required to support the application environments.
- Ensure that all supported infrastructure environments are fully documented, including procedures for their use and management.
- Development of customer support processes, technical planning, and work coordination
- Identifies modifications to implement and improve operational support
- Assisting Tier 2 level operational support with after action reports such as Root Cause Analysis Reports, to include researching potential incident/problem mitigation and preventive measures and assisting with putting those measures in place.
- Provide day-to-day Tier 3 level operational support including responding to incidents, troubleshooting, and executing corrective action.
- Identifies modifications to implement and improve operational support
- Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of new projects / technologies and ensuring that the solutions are highly available and performing.
- Plan and ensure compliance with established best practices, related policies and legislation
- Ensure that all supported infrastructure environments are fully documented, including procedures for their use and management.
- Ensure that shift based teams are managed effectively ensuring maximum availability, service hours coverage and skills effectiveness

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

- In a shift based role possessing a broad and extensive experience across network, security, database, servers and storage in a Tier 3 shift team leader role
- Intermediate level experience in different network automation tools, protocol analyzers, network operating systems, such as NetBrain, Cisco Products
- Intermediate level maintaining, administering, troubleshooting and supporting complex enterprise networks that are build on a number of vendor technologies and includes L2 and L3 switching, routing, firewalls, DMZs and network monitoring.
- Intermediate level experience in managing and administering Load Balancer such as HAproxy., switches such as Cisco Catalyst and Nexus
- Intermediate level knowledge of Network protocols and packet filtering
- Intermediate level experience in routers, switches including NetScout Packet Flow, Radius / TACACS, Network Performance Tuning
- Intermediate level experience in managing network security process and systems
- Intermediate level with devising, implementing and evolving security policies and Firewall configurations
- Intermediate level experience in different network automation tools, protocal analyzers, network operating systems, such as NetBrain and Cisco Products
- Intermediate level experience in one or more of the following Dell/EMC products and systems,Unity, Avamar, DPS, ML3 Tape Library, R640 servers and Data Domain
- Intermediate level experience in, Vmware vCenter, Vmware Horizon/View/VDI, Vmware Suite
- Intermediate level experience in automating, maintinging, upgrading and supporting Enterprise Linux / Open Source environments
- Using Open Source software and tools on a Linux environment; Automating the management of the estate with scripting and other automation tools for patch management, monitoring and support.
- Intermediate capabilities in SQL and NoSQL Data Bases such as, MySQL
- Intermediate capabilities and experience in IT and Database management, monitoring and optimization tools
