Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

PROFITABILITY AND SALES PERFORMANCE:
- Promote maximum sale of merchandise by understanding customer needs, overcoming objections, and encouraging add on & cross selling techniques.
- Achieve or exceed all financial goals established for the store.
- Recommending stock purchasing to the brand manager.
- Implement professional methods of Stock management, this includes but not limited to (Plan to promote slow selling items, control stock replenishments to optimum levels and reduce stock loss prevention figures).
- Drive sales with a focus on guest satisfaction while increasing guest count.
- Ensure that inventory is accurately done on regular basis.
- Manage Store Petty cash and daily sales.
- Create, implement and evaluate action plans to achieve the operational goals.

LEADERSHIP:
- To lead by example and ensure that all staff demonstrate initiative selling skills and excellent customer service through good Product knowledge.
- Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
- Direct, coach, support and communicate effectively with the team.
- In charge of all Staff Training.
- Motivate and develop the team to their full potential.
- Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service and train subordinates on all aspects of product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Monitoring staff performance by conducting Evaluation Reviews after every six months of service and Performance Appraisal
- Reviews every year with proposed evaluations for advancement and salary increases.
- To adopt a proactive approach and maintain open door policy when interacting with Staff.
- Conducts store meetings as required.
- Ensure complete understanding of accountabilities/responsibilities.
- Leads the staff and encourages development of individual strengths and improvement on individual opportunities
- Respond to team member needs and concerns respectfully and in a timely manner.

OPERATING STANDARDS:
- Implement high standards of visual merchandising.
- Follow up personally to all customer complaints and ensure all team members respond to complaints with a sense of urgency, poise and good judgement.
- Responsible for accountability of all store paperwork, making certain that paperwork is organized, accounted for, audited and processed when required.
- Ensures Head Office paperwork requirements are met in an accurate and timely manner.
- Constantly reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching and direction to the staff to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Oversees quality of goods going to sales floor.
- Monitors stock level of store merchandise and adjusts as necessary.
- Answers customer’s complaints or inquiries and resolves appropriately.
- Ensures compliance of employees with established safety, policies, procedures, security, sales, productivity and record keeping procedures and practices.
- Ensure all standards of uniforms and personal hygiene are maintained as per Company Standards, at all time.
- To communicate effectively with customers, staff and senior management.
- Implement effectively all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years experience in related fields.
- University degree.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise, motivate and lead a team of employees
- Ability to count money and make change.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to comply with the needs of the store.
- Work independently while fostering a strong team atmosphere
- Maintain confidentiality of information related to operations, financial matters and personnel issues.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and display
- Computer Knowledge (MS Programs / Retail System)
