Showroom Manager

Job description / Role

Role Objective:
Responsible for managing the overall functioning of the store and takes care of the day to day operations of the store to ensure maximum profitability.

Reporting to: Group Advisor

Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales targets and increase profits
- Develop business strategies to increase customer traffic
- Design marketing promotions
- Study competition model, pricing and policies & take corrective measures
- Monthly stock movement projection / sales forecasting report to be provided to Group Advisor
- Ensure high standards of showroom merchandising
- Ensure stock availability at all times
- Update recommended Retail Price on Display
- Proficient in e-Commerce sales
- Assist customers in choosing the right product by explaining features, benefits etc
- Handle customer grievances / complaints
- Manage store administration and a team of 6 employees
- Mentor and train the Team

Requirements

University Qualifications: Ideally holding BBA or MBA

Nature and length of previous experience: Proven 8 – 9 years retail experience as a Showroom or Store Manager

Specialist knowledge:
- Preferably possessing product and market knowledge in Textile industry or Garment manufacturing units in UAE.
- Previous experience in dealing with garment manufacturers, tailoring shops, fashion design houses or boutiques an advantage
- Preferably with Industry background & technical product experience with Domestic & Industrial Sewing Machines, threads, interlinings & other sewing related products/accessories
- Proven track record of generating sales
- Advanced MS Office Proficiency
- Driving License an advantage
