Site Engineer

Job description / Role

As a site engineer, you will be responsible for high rise building, tower including structural and architectural work.

Your daily duties would include:
- Carrying out execution of the site works based on the specifications.
- Direct construction, operations and maintenance activities at site.
- Perform site inspection, man-material management on site, completing job as per drawings, ensure project progress as per set time and budgets maintaining quality.
- Inspect sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and standards.
- Participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel according to the site or as-built conditions.
- Responsible for construction supervision, quality control, review of shop drawing, method statements, joint measurements, preparation of progress reports, certification of measurements, coordination of MEP works, liaison with clients, consultants, government agencies, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor and arrange safety programs to assure safety during construction activities.
- Analyse information and evaluate results to select the best solution and solve problems

Requirements

- A Science Graduate with 5 - 10 years of experience in High rises projects including residential and commercial buildings.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in UAE as site engineer in Engineering & Architectural Consultancies.
- Excellent Communication Skills
