Site Engineer

Job description / Role

Our client located in UAE with office across KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, and Lebanon is seeking to hire a Site Engineer.

The client is well known as they have have served more than 250 companies from across the MENA region, Europe, Central Asia and Russia with world-class products.

Duties not limited to the below .

• Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and architects to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and materials, identifying and addressing any deviations or deficiencies to maintain quality standards.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and milestones, reporting updates to project stakeholders and proactively addressing any issues or delays.
• Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams, resolving technical challenges and offering solutions to optimize project efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, site records, and as-built drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Client Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to address project-related inquiries, provide updates on progress, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and obstacles on the construction site, developing proactive strategies to mitigate issues and maintain project momentum.
• Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures and resource utilization, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to the project budget.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor site staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements, obtaining necessary approvals and permits for construction activities.
• These duties encompass a broad range of responsibilities, reflecting the multifaceted role of a Site Engineer in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.

Salary:
AED 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in external facade installation including design, construction, installation, and supervision.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multitasking skills
• Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Auto Cad & Microsoft Office
