Job description / Role
• Assist in developing efficient and intuitive marketing strategies and executing social media campaigns, including content creation, communication plan, editorial calendar, and bench-marking
• Maintain, modify, and ensure accuracy of content on various platforms, displays, reports, brochures, social media, and/or websites and ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily engaging content in the form of blogs, videos, podcasts or social media messages
• Interact and reply to any queries on the different social media platforms in a timely manner, and redirect and connect to the right person within the organization whenever necessary (community management)
• Collaborate with the team on advertising/communication campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events; work with the graphic designer and the PR agency to promote and publicize events
• Captures and analyzes appropriate social data-metrics, insights and best practices, and using them to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
• Reports progress to seniors
Requirements
• 1-2 years of experience, ideally in social media or marketing
• Familiarity with video editing tools is preferred
• Familiarity with the startup ecosystem is a plus
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and their different uses
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Forms)
