Job description / Role
Our client, a leading transportation business, is on the lookout for experienced IT professionals to join their software development team in Dubai.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Producing quality software and systems
• Working with the team in designing and developing software
• Analyzing and drafting software technical specification
• Providing user system support and software maintenance
• Documenting designs and review code
• Acting as a subject matter expert
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• A degree in computer engineering or an equivalent with focus on various programming languages, database design and developing tools
• Strong skills in object-oriented design, data stuctures and algorithms
• Experience in multi-tiered distributed systems, APIs and relational & NoSQL databases
• Passion on proficiency object-oriented programming language
• Strong knowledge of Java, Javascript, Python, iOS and Android app development
• Strong passion for software and willingness to learn and develop
