Role Expectations
• Understand the solution architecture, translate business process, information entities and systems solutions into accurate, easily understandable architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
• Gather, understand and synthesize documentation available from vendors, SMEs, systems, product managers and business analysts to be able to extract right information and transform it into different architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
• Follow governance and guiding principles, policies and standards from Enterprise Architects to define the high level and low-level design for various projects, programs and initiatives.
• Perform quality control to assure completeness and compliance with modelling standards and assure that the overall integrity and traceability is respected.
• Perform gap analysis and conformity checks between enterprise architectures and solution architectures.
• Coach and train other solution architects in capturing architecture and design artifacts in compliance with modelling standards.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, communicating and governing enterprise standards, guidelines and metamodels.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in analyzing, designing and implementing simple and complex information systems and associated business processes and requirements
• 3 to 5 years of experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect tool (or similar architecture tool) to create high- and low-level design diagrams and views.
• Significant practical experience or good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF and/or Zachman.
• Extensive experience in modeling with BPMN and UML.
• Experience modelling using ArchiMate or SoaML is preferable.
• Experience in creating application architectures, integration architectures, deployment diagrams and network diagrams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Experience forming and maintaining relationships with Executives, Senior Leaders and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage vendors, work and communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders in a variety of situations.
• Effective organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Bachelor’s Degree (Master preferred) in software engineering or computer Science
• Background in using script languages, such as VB Script, JavaScript, and Python, to automate tasks and develop applications would be preferable.
• Background in software development, programming and database languages such as node.js, ASP.NET, ASP, PHP, HTML, C#, Java, C++, Visual Basic, SQL, C++ would be preferable.
• Certifications in TOGAF and SOA would be preferable.
• ITILv3 Foundation certification would be preferable.

OR

• 10+ years’ experience in analysying, designing, and implementing simple and complex Infrastructure Solutions
• 3-5 years of experience using Enterprise Architect tools to create high and low level design diagrams and views
• Ability to manage vendors, work and communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders in a variety of situations
• Effective organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Bachelor’s Degree (Master preferred) in software engineering or computer Science
• Certifications in relevant technology areas would be preferable
