Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):
• Provides consultative support and technical expertise in Pre Sales situations.
• Manages the proposal composition for customer requests and major bids.
• Works in close coordination with Sales and customer IT team to develop product and solution design for specific customer requirements.
• Responsible for understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments and outside vendors to develop solutions and offerings that leverage Etisalat products and services to address these requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities :
• Identifies and clarifies customers’ current and future business initiatives and needs and respective technical requirements.
• Collects information from customer about their existing IT and telecommunications infrastructure and conducts analyses.
• Communicates with respective Sales to understand customer’s history, competitive environment, planned strategy, tactics and other sales activities.
• Ensures that information on existing products and services is available by interfacing with Product Marketing, Engineering and other internal stakeholders.
• Creates demand on customer’s side.
• Provides technical support/advice on the development of proposals, bids and solution selling.
• Researches software and hardware products or Etisalat services, and finds best solutions and prices to meet business requirements. Subsequently, present and translate the design to customers to ensure the solution will meet the customers' requirements.
• Assesses price, performance and quality relationships for each solution as well as its total cost of use.
• Compares possible Etisalat solutions with competitors’ solutions in terms of price, quality and performance and prepares supporting arguments for presentation and negotiation with customer.
• Identifies current and future opportunities for cross and up-selling and proposes them to Sales.
• Provides technical advice to Sales and gives technical direction, guidance and higher level technical support.
• Develops winning proposals for customer requirements/RFP’s, working closely with Etisalat Product Marketing, Engineering, Contracts and external vendor partners. Carries out effective customer presentations to present solutions proposed.
• Supports Professional Services and Project Management teams and Etisalat contracts in developing project plans, negotiating and drafting scope of work and contract documents.
• Develops training and Conducts training sessions to sales on Etisalat Services and products.
• Presents Etisalat in technical and marketing events working closely with product marketing to present Etisalat products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Candidate 3-5(Sr. Solution Architect)/ 2-4 (Solution Architect) years experience in pre-sales, solution design & development.
• Relationship building skills
