Overview of the role

As a Solution Expert for SAP Automotive Yard Logistics, you will help optimize and simplify the logistics operations in the yard using SAP solutions and will take part in and lead tasks such as new scope and requirements, break-fix, testing, and support to meet the business needs also you will implement solutions that improve the efficiency of managing the yard logistics.

What you will do
- Manage, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain respective domain solutions to agreed service level standards.
- Investigates and develops specifications for system changes to handle workloads and high availability.
- Develops and maintains documentation for Technical solution modifications.
- Liaise with software suppliers and the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.
- Work with internal and external implementation team members and partners to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of solutions.
- Adheres to software development and maintenance standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of internal and external development best practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
- Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.

Requirements

Required Skills to be successful
- Strong understanding of Automotive Logistics business processes.
- Ability to seamlessly integrate SAP YL with SAP SD, SAP MM, and other relevant modules.
- Proficiency in Agile and SAP Activate implementation methodologies.
- Exceptional consulting skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with business users and stakeholders independently.
- Comprehensive understanding of ABAP with proficient debugging skills.
- Behavioural Competencies : Ability to learn new technologies, Innovative thinking, Adaptability, Strong Customer Relationship.

What equips you for the role
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP YL for Automotive Business.
- Proficiency in configuring Inbound, Outbound, and Internal Processes within SAP YL.
- Extensive experience in integrating SAP YL with backend systems for both master and transactional data.
- Demonstrated capability in setting up Yard Layout, Yard Order, Yard Task, and Yard Request configurations.
- Hands-on experience in setting up new IDOCs and QRFCs.
- Experience in seamless integration with third-party systems.
- Functional design proficiency in developing Fiori applications.
- Experience in SAP EWM will be an advantage.
- Experience in other C4 products from SAP including Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Customer Data platform, and understanding of S4 HANA, will be an added advantage.
- C4C Sales and Service Cloud Certification is a plus.
