Spanish speaking Senior Accountant - Abu Dhabi

Our client is a global organisation within the engineering and construction sector and they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team in Abu Dhabi. An international leading company in their industry with offices located across the world, they offer innovative and efficient products to customers and are committed to providing quality service.

This role of Senior Accountant will encompass all aspects of finance including system entries and updates on the CRM, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoice management of extremely high values and presenting reports and graphs in Excel to the Management team. You will be responsible for four regions; UAE, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia, taking care of all day to day transactions and as such you will be self - motivated with a high attention to detail. You will ensure all entries are 100% accurate and timely deadlines, such as month and year end are met. You will also liaise with the audit and compliance team to ensure all procedures are followed and assist them with support with any accountancy preparation. You will be in regular communication with Project Directors and the CEO, so therefore those with a strong professional outlook and level of discretion will be considered.

Requirements

The role of Senior Accountant requires a finance qualification and or degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Accountancy role. We are looking for an individual with an exceptional eye for detail and strong work ethic. Fluency in Spanish is essential for this role, so those without these linguistic skills will not be considered.
