Specialist Pediatrician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Pediatrician to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric care and a commitment to providing high-quality medical services to young patients. As a Specialist Pediatrician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions, as well as providing guidance and support to the patients' families.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses specific to infants, children, and adolescents
- Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development
- Provide care for children who are acutely or chronically ill, including those with special needs
- Prescribe and administer appropriate treatments, medications, and therapies
- Monitor and assess patients' growth and development, and address any concerns with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
- Educate patients and their families about illness, medical conditions, and treatment plans
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric care
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Proven experience working as a Pediatrician in a hospital or clinical setting
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and their families
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in the well-being of children
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to pediatric patients
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
