About the Job

Acts as technical authority on Reservoir Engineering related subjects, Reservoir Surveillance Specialist will lead the planning and execution of surveillance, well management, production chemistry and other key aspects of the deployment of Enhance Oil Recovery (EOR) / Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) projects.

Job Specific Accountabilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Analyses, interprets, and integrates broad data sets (tracers, production logs, cased hole logs, pressure tests, interference tests) for EOR pilot characterization.
- Performs various petroleum engineering related activities including job planning (Regular, Short term & Long term), Drilling, Well completions, Workovers (Rig & Rigless), Artificial lift, Acid stimulation and Production Management.
- Conducts flow assurance and well bore management for various EOR techniques.
- Constructs well surveillance plans, well reviews, monitoring and well performance analysis by using Nodal analysis software.
- Interpret difficult pressure transient test cases and perform test design.
- Provides Well completion design of various injection wells, production wells and observation wells for EOR processes, (CO2, WAG, Low salinity).
- Provides EOR team with advice and consultation in Petroleum engineering and surveillance related studies & activities that directly impact ADNOC Onshore EOR deployment plans. Liaise with reservoir engineers and geoscientist for the selection, design, and execution of CO2 and low salinity pilots.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree Petroleum engineering and/or Reservoir engineering.
- Master's degree and/or PhD degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 15 years of experience in application of petroleum engineering, tracers test implementation, flow assurance and well test designs, and reservoir management, including at least 5 years in HC & CO2 WAG EOR.
- Strong knowledge in general reservoir engineering aspects as field development, well testing, PVT, etc.
- Skilled in Reservoir Compositional Simulation software & tools (INTERSECT, tNavigator, and CMG).
- Strong project economics skills.
- Knowledgeable of surface facilities.
- Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS).
- Preferred to have published technical papers.
