Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose

Provide technical advice on well integrity management for design and construction phases of the well lifecycle; partner with assets to understand requirements, design, development and implement technical standards and guidelines, for assigned specialism in accordance with the Company's overall asset integrity management strategies while leading the efforts to challenge and improve existing well design and well integrity practices, with a view to enhancing well productivity, reducing well cost and improving well life in order to achieve optimum risk mitigation, operational excellence and enhance asset performance.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
- Establish technical standards for well integrity management for design and construction phases of the well lifecycle (from the basis of design, construction & workover to abandonment) and partner with assets to assure compliance to defined guidelines while providing internal consultancy to achieve world class standards and optimum risk mitigation.
- Define measures and develop frameworks to ensure all well programs (design, construction, work over, intervention, and abandonment) are reviewed to provide any non- subjective and competent opinion on well integrity and operating policy conformance in well design and construction.
- Assess and approve deviation from specified well integrity standards for design and construction phases to assure compliance to asset integrity management framework
- Responsible for ensuring that the well integrity technical standards of the organization are established, verified and maintained.
- Provide confidence that the well is designed, drilled, completed, suspended and abandoned in accordance with appropriate standards and practices, to reduce the potential for uncontrolled hydrocarbon releases.
- Provide independent technical review and recommendations on well integrity issues during design and construction phase.
- Evaluate new strategic well integrity management technologies, facilitate conducting of trials and provide support during the approval process assessing results to achieve the desired objectives in alignment with the technical centre mandate and asset strategies.
- Assure all components of the well are designed to withstand all planned and/or expected loads and stresses throughout the life of the well, including those induced during well activities and potential well control situations.
- Provide technical verification for well handover process as they pertain to well barriers and conformance to Basis of Design objectives.
- Ensure all integrity requirements for design and construction phases are captured and considered into the well integrity management systems upgrades and updates, configured into the Company master systems databases and maximizing the value added to the Company business by fully deploying the system functionality.

Supervision
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section's work programs in line with Company and International standards.
- Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

Requirements

- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices

Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management

Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering Discipline.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
-8 years of experience. Understanding of well construction, completion design & installation
