Specification Engineer - Building Materials

We are looking for a proactive Specification Engineer to spearhead our engagement efforts with architects, consultants, and developers in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships within the construction industry. As a Specification Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the requirements of architects, consultants, and developers and specifying our products to meet their needs.

Description

* Proactively engage with architects, consultants, and developers to understand their project requirements and specifications.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry.
* Present our products and solutions to architects, consultants, and developers to secure specifications for our products.
* Develop a deep understanding of our products and their technical specifications.
* Provide technical support and guidance to architects, consultants, and developers to ensure our products meet their project requirements.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to construction and building materials.
* Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and threats in the UAE construction market.
* Provide insights and feedback to the management team to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE market.
* Strong technical background with a good understanding of building materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with architects, consultants, and developers.
* Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
