Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The job holder will be responsible for heading E-Commerce Operations across GCC

DO - Key Responsibilities

1. Business performance

o Revenue

- Planning and phasing of ecommerce events & budgets in alignment with BnM and territory requirements

- Evaluation of Performance against plan and taking corrective action for all input and output metrices surrounding selection, revenue, traffic, basket size, conversion, pricing gaps SLAs, NPS etc

o Pricing and Merchandising

- Ensuring offering on e-com website is competitive compared to competition brands.

- Identifying growth opportunities from price gaps and product configurations

- Merchandizing the right category and products as per business requirements and market / demand trends.

- Closely work with planning and buying teams for tactical and strategic offers to meet category and business goals

- Ensure markdowns are within the business targets

o Order Management

- Ensure all customer orders are adhering to the promised proposition of delivery SLAs

- Ensure returns and cancellations (internal and external) are within business goals

- Project order quantity and numbers accurately for planning supply chain capacities

o Inventory Management

- Monitor sell-through and ageing of e-com inventory, particularly e-com exclusives and recommend corrective action in coordination with planning

- Monitor availability of inventory across warehouse locations and highlight potential opportunity losses where cover is running low.

o Financial performance

- Ensure that margin targets are being met at product / category / event level - especially for e-com exclusive collection

- Control costs through accurate forecasting and proper monitoring of plans prepared with supply chain, LMG digital

2. Studio operations & website merchandising

- Completion of photoshoot for products as per launch plan. Ensure that supplier images are delivered as per brand guidelines. Coordinate with buying team closely to ensure necessary inputs for content development are in place.

- Ensure that online listings adhere to launch guidelines surrounding images, product content, pricing etc

- Asset development in collaboration with LMG Digital team to merchandize focus categories and products. Monitor their performance and modify wherever assets aren't performing as per plan.

- Overall website flow should provide great UX and incentivize customers to browse relevant products / categories and reduce bounce rate. Monitor performance through Sessions to PLP or PLP to PDP conversions.

- Effective utilization of assets to meet visibility, AOV and conversion requirements.

3. Tech enhancement

- Identify feature enhancements required that will enhance customer's online experience leading to improved performance against goals

- Efficiently use existing features to maximise benefit to the customer

- Highlight key issues that is impacting business performance and customer experience.

4 Business reporting

- Setup and consume reports to review business performance against plan on key areas to be managed as per above

- Share insights and recommendations to other stakeholders from buying / planning etc to enable them to take adequate action for well being and improvement of business.

DISPLAY

QUALIFICATION

Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training

Post-graduate degree in Business Administration from premier B-School (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Experience

At least 10 years of experience in retail of which min 4-5 years in e-commerce leadership

Specific / Relevant Experience

- Exposure in managing e-com P&L with exposure managing all relevant business functions

- Experience in managing Home and Furnishing products. Understanding of products and product categories
