Job description / Role
• Responsible for overall operational, customer experience in Staff Restaurant.
• With strong hospitality experience to ensure the reputation of the company is maintained at the highest level.
• Controlling, supervising the operations in the AA Cafeteria and ensuring that procedures and policies are followed at all times.
• Accountabilities related to preparation/scheduling of work or actions which need to be completed.
• Reviewing and reporting performance
• Responsible to the Production Manager during service for timing and progress of all dishes.
• To ensure that in the preparation and presentation of food, the highest standards are maintained at all times.
• To control wastage and to help maintain food costs.
• To keep the Production Manager appraised of any problems within the Kitchen/ Cafeteria.
• These would include staff, Health & Safety, equipment, and any other areas connected with the Kitchen/ Cafeteria organization
• To work towards and ensure a positive relationship exists between the Operations & Customer
• To be fully conversant with the menu and to be adaptable with continual changes to ensure that the menu is kept in line with customer demands and Company policies.
• To maintain and constantly develop the finest selection of dishes that compromise the menus that the Company offer in conjunction with the standards laid by the Company.
• To direct responsibility for all dishes served in your section
• To attend any necessary training sessions or meetings.
• To make sure that Company Policy and Departmental Objectives are followed and always utilized.
• To ensure that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Accountabilities connected to managing the ‘execution’ of the work and ensuring adequate performance levels to ensure the ‘work gets done’ on time, to quality and safety standards and within cost.
• Plan the delivery of all services in AA Staff Cafeteria, including food; beverage; ambience and service elements at the cafeteria.
• This is in support of the alpha vision of delivering exceptional services.
• Constantly seek customer feedback and opportunities to develop high quality service in the cafeteria in keeping with the continuous improvement framework
• Making sure the cafeteria have sufficient staff by managing their rosters and leave effectively.
• Able to manage his manpower through planning ahead of time by identifying tendencies of peak timings.
• Maintains operations by Following policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations.
Requirements
• Experience in any of this related field large Employee Cafeteria, F&B, Catering, Hotels and Hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written English and/or Arabic.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet assigned deadlines.
• Minimum 5 years in Supervisor / managerial role

Our main catering unit and offices are located in Sharjah, however, goods and services are provided also in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
