Title:
Structural Designer

KBR is looking for Principal structural designer Engineer for Majnoon EPCM project to be based in Abu Dhabi - UAE

Role:

The successful candidate candidate must have command o f civil/structural engineering and will be responsible for the structural design requirement for projects located in Iraq.

Job duties:
- Design concrete and steel structures
- Fix the technical specs for the structural and civil engineering works.
- Quantity Take off of the structural elements .
- Preparation and management of the Technical Document Register.
- Be able to utilize latest design software ETAB,SAFE,STAAD .
- Classified the drawings an track record the update .
- Be able to work independently to select the code requirements starting by design input date , build the structural moule run the analysis and generate the design
- Liaising with other design team members to assure proper coordination
- Draft and issue concept , schematic and issue for construction drawings .

Requirements

Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering.
- Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience as a structural design consultant
- Recorded experience as a Lead structural design in recognized consultant firm .
- Licensed structural design consultant from a recognized authority
- Experience in both concrete and steel structure design .
- Knowledge of BIM 360 is an added value
- Must be able to generate the structural details such as ( concrete mix design, rebar detailing , steel structure detailing )
