Structural Engineer – Bridge & Underpass

JOB OVERVIEW:
• Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Supervise field bench-scale, pilot-scale, sampling, and data collection activities.
• Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
• Give practical advice on constructional matters.
• Inspect construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
• Direct Inspectors and ensure performance.
• Assist in or measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings.
• Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.

Requirements

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

At least 10 years of construction supervision experience in large scale roads, bridges, vehicular underpass projects.

Preferably with related experience in Dubai or the GCC region.

Preferably have worked in the same capacity in an Engineering Consulting firm.
