Structural Technician

Job description / Role

• International firm seek Structural Technician to produce highly detailed 3D structural models and drawings in all major structural materials including, but not limited to, concrete and steelwork.
• Detailing of reinforcement and steel connections to a shop drawing level.
• Assist the Structural Drafting Manager, and other members of the drafting team, in the preparation of design drawings.
• Coordinate the structural requirements, as advised by the Engineers, with the Architectural, MEP and all other relevant disciplines information.
• Ensure drawings are fully coordinated with other consultants prior to submission.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience. UAE experience preferred but not essential.
• Large scale project experience, whilst working for a consultancy is required.
• A qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred, other relevant qualifications may be considered.
• Must be fully conversant with the latest versions of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to produce structural models and drawing documentation to the highest of standards.
