The Boeing Company is currently hiring an experienced and highly skilled Supplier Management Field Operations Representative to work with suppliers located primarily in Al Ain.

The position will be dedicated to the support of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The locally based Boeing Field Operations organizational structure includes management and other Supplier Management Field Operations staff located within other regions and countries of Europe, Turkey and the Middle East.

Organizationally aligned with Boeing senior executive management in the Puget Sound region of Washington in the U.S., the Europe, Turkey and U.A.E.-based organization supports the Boeing procurement and final assembly program / production organizations located in the U.S.

This role would ideally suit someone with an Aerospace background. Travel to sub-tier suppliers and manufacturing facilities is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Emergent offload/overload suppliers and provides technical assistance in areas such as manufacturing planning and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.
• The representative will communicate across functions including procurement agents, management, suppliers, internal customers, field quality engineering and manufacturing to report status and concerns.
• Facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements.
• Participates with the procurement agent in on-site supplier assessments (e.g. rate readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Boeing procurement strategy.
• Evaluates overall supplier health (e.g. symptoms of declining financial stability).
• Conducts on-site evaluations in response to Procurement Support Requests which are issued by Boeing procurement and operations personnel at U.S. final assembly locations that identify problems and establish the basis for recovery planning.

Requirements

• The position will be dedicated to the support of Boeing Commercial Airplanes; the role would ideally suit someone with an Aerospace background. Significant travel to suppliers and manufacturing facilities is required.
• It is advantageous to have a degree in math, science or business administration.
• Arabic speaking is preferred
