Supply Chain Executive

Job description / Role

The Chef Middle East team is growing and we are looking for new talent to join our team!

The Supply Chain Executive's primary function is to manage and optimize inventory, minimize inventory days of supply in order to reduce risks of excess and obsolete inventory.

Responsibilities:

- Must ensure that 98% plus availability are maintained for the top 500 SKU’s from the company's portfolio
- Ensure optimum stock coverage across all products as per forecasted requirements
- Generating supplier wise order inventory plans and coordinating with suppliers for shipment plans.
- Generate purchase orders as per requirement and posting the same in the ERP system.
- Regular check and follow up of delivery from suppliers.
- Coordination with other departments - Operations, Warehouse and Logistics
- Ensuring stock availability at all times

Requirements

- College or University degree or at least two years related experience in a similar industry
- Must be familiar with any ERP system and Microsoft Office suite packages.
- Excellent communication skills (proficiency in English)
- Excellent problem solving, organization and negotiation skills.
- Proven negotiation skills to deal with suppliers
