Job description / Role
A multinational lubricant company are currently looking to add a Supply Chain Manager to their team here in Dubai. Leading a small team you will be in charge of procurement, vendor management (Contract manufacturing), planning, transport and warehousing. other responsibilities include:
• Vendor Development & Management: Appointing and management of contract manufacturers / vendors; continually work with vendors to improve process efficiency & lead time of supply, assess readiness of suppliers to meet growth in volume & diversify risk, establish accountability for supply reliability & quality of product supplied.
• Lead warehouse management and related KPIs for warehousing and distribution.
• Hold responsibility for WC.
• Manage projects related to business growth & development: Facilitate New Solution Development and Quality Management, execute Network Design Optimization and Capability Analysis, generate PIO’s.
• Facilitate EH&S & Technical initiatives.
• Develop supply chain and regional team in line with business progression and drive supply chain’s and team’s performance through training & development and relevant KPIs.
Requirements
• University education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• 7-year experience in a similar function within a multinational corporation
• Must be leading a team of direct reports in his current role.
• Experience and knowledge of lubricant industry desired
• SAP / BW experience or other similar IT platform exposure / experience is must.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills (English)
• Fluency in regional language (spoken) is desirable
• Excellent communication and social skills
