Supply Chain Officer

Role: Supply Chain Officer
Job Location: DAFZA ( Dubai)
Contract : Outsourced
Duration: 6 months ( extendable)

Responsibilities:
• Develop accurate monthly demand forecasts for products, considering factors such as seasonality, market trends and historical data.
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain and marketing to gather relevant market intelligence and insights that can impact demand patterns.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify demand trends, variations, and potential forecast deviations.
• Regularly review and refine the forecasting model to enhance accuracy and adapt to changes in business/ customer requirements.
• Provide inputs for the S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply planning.
• Manage and track customer contract expiry to incorporate in forecasting decisions.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate will have:
• Strong communication skills (Especially Good command of English).
• Understand business processes and full supply chain, able to turn business knowledge into forecast assumptions.
• Fully understand mathematical forecasting methods, and comfortable to work with numbers.
