Job description / Role
Survey Hydrographer
• Onshore Survey Hydrographer use state-of-the-art technology to produce detailed plans of seabed, harbor sand water ways.
• They measure and map under water surface sand study the construction of the seabed, showing the depth, shape, contours.
• They specialize in precise positioning, data acquisition and processing.
Requirements
The following skill and knowledge shall be present but not limited to:
• Hydrographic surveying
• Marine sciences
• Land surveying
• Computer science or software engineering
• Geography or cartography
• Geology
• Physical, mathematical, or applied science.
