Job description / Role

1. Qualification/Experience :-
- Preference for Experience of “Accuracy Control” for Ship Building industry
- Graduate In Civil Engineer (Accurate Surveyor)
- Over 15 years of experience of survey
- Fluent English Speaker
- Experience of Survey Management for Special structure (i.e. over 400 m cable stayed bridge’s or over 800 m suspension bridge)
- Experience of Survey Management for special bridge like 150m or higher pylon
- Experience of “Geometric Control” (Survey Part)

2. Job Description :-

- Generating the “Survey Master Plan” for the overall period from manufacturing at factory and erection at site for Special Structure
- (He is required to have the capacity to make the overall survey method e.g. how to survey, where to survey, when to survey under full understanding of the structural behavior, design requirements and erection sequence.)
- Overall Surveying Management incorporating the manufacturer’s (Denholm Yam, Eversendai Offshore) and Surveying subcontractor(ALTO)
- Analyzing the surveying result and error from the output from each party ( Manufacturer’s , Surveying subcontractor’s, HDEC staff’s)
- And finalize the reliable survey result.
- Reviewing and Verifying survey method statement from each party (Manufacturer, surveying subcontractor)
- Establishing overall combined surveying plan with surveying subcontractor and manufacturer for entire period from manufacturing and erection.
- Record and control the reliable survey report for entire period from manufacturing and erection.
- Periodical management and education for the HDEC’s survey staff and maintenance of surveying equipment.
- Providing and presenting the technical criteria and information for resolving outstanding issue which is related to the surveying
- Understanding of TUV’s minimum requirement for survey and Presenting rational method of surveying
- Distribution/Submission of Survey data to the relevant parties
- Coordination work with the Manufacturer/Installation Company/Surveying subcontractor/HDEC’s internal team/the Employer

Requirements

University Qualifications: Civil Engineer (Accurate Surveyor)
Nature and length of previous experience: Experience of Survey Management for Special structure (i.e. over 400 m cable stayed bridge’s or over 800 m suspension bridge)
- Experience of Survey Management for special bridge like 150m or higher pylon
Specialist knowledge: Experience of Survey Management for Special structure (i.e. over 400 m cable stayed bridge’s or over 800 m suspension bridge)
- Experience of Survey Management for special bridge like 150m or higher pylon
- Experience of “Geometric Control” (Survey Part)
