Our client is currently recruiting for a Survey Manager to join an industry leading geo-intelligence solutions consultant based in Dubai. This business has a truly global reach and operate in multiple industry sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Whilst managing the technical aspects of the Survey Project Managers, GIS and CAD departments and Operational Survey teams, the position will be to develop and implement project required procedures to professionally and efficiently conduct a survey project through to the final deliverables.
SCOPE OF WORK:
* Manage the survey department and assist the survey group in delivering the survey projects successfully
* Manage technical and procedural activities of the survey department
* Play a pro-active role in establishing new business relationships and maintain a close working relationship with clients
* Provide technical advice and input and allocate technical expertise
* Participate in contract required, technical or project related meetings, internally and externally
* Provide assistance and support in the development of tenders, proposals and quotations
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements
* Higher in Geomatics or Surveying or survey related education with sufficient associated experience or equivalent by experience
* Broad technical survey knowledge: experience in different geomatics solutions, equipment and procedures
* Currently in the Middle East or have experience of Middle East projects
* With 10 years' experience in executing high value projects in the Middle East
* Must have proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills, and sound judgement
* Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients
