JOB TITLE: Manager - Sustainability

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning

- Support the effort to create a sustainability vision for the company encompassing people, profit and planet.
- Align the strategy and activities to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Assess the organization's current sustainability performance and identify and prioritize key sustainability issues.
- Collaborate with the company's internal groups (AS, E&C, ETP, Engineering, Investor Relations, etc.) to progress the Sustainability Strategy.
- Monitor emerging trends, programmes and issues, and communicating and raising awareness on topics that are salient and material to the business.

Capability Development

- Foster a culture of sustainability through organisational communications and education.
- Support BUs to understand sustainability risks and opportunities within their activities and, take steps to mitigate risks or maximize the value from opportunities.
- Offer expertise and provide support for initiatives to reduce company-wide resource consumption and waste generation.
- Support the development of appropriate standards and guidelines, that remain up-to-date and relevant to business needs and integrated into business processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Coordinate the materiality review process to identify and assess the salient and material corporate responsibility issues of most importance to our stakeholders.
- Build effective partnerships with external organisations that contribute to sustainability and drive toward coalitions, consensus and action.

Reporting & Assurance

- Measure and monitor progress against programme objectives and performance targets.
- P rovided SME support to annual Corporate Responsibility reporting and related disclosures including GRI reporting, CDP and broader ESG reporting.
- Implement internal controls and processes to provide assurance that sustainability activities comply with system requirements, stakeholder expectations and industry good practice.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- Experience across international O&G value chain, particularly EPC and related site experience.
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Required). MSc or advanced degree in environmental engineering or relevant field (Preferred).
- Senior-level experience managing sustainability programmes or related function. e.g. environment, governance, etc.
- Experience in delivering decarbonisation initiatives within an EPC environment.
- Strong understanding of the global sustainability landscape, key emerging sustainability issues and best practices.
- Experience in SBTi and Net Zero target setting.
- Strong project and change management experience.
- Ability to drive change and maximize adoption and usage through effective employee engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, advocacy and influencing skills.
- Strong teamwork skills, able to work in multi-cultural and multi-company environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively across the organisation.
- Willingness to play a significant role in upskilling resources.
