Job description / Role
Purpose: To provide enterprise mobility solutions for EGA and its subsidiaries with a view to ease business processes and improve organisational efficiency. To provide timely relevant and single version of facts on mobile devices
Policies, Processes & Procedures
• Develops and oversees the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the enterprise mobility function so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner
Day- to-day operations
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of enterprise mobility section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
Enterprise Mobility
• Leads and implements enterprise mobility initiatives with a view to simplify business processes using mobile devices
• Leads business reporting and analytics initiatives introduce all business workflows on mobile devices
• Leads and builds mobile device management processes with a view to secure information sharing within EGA and its subsidiaries
Enterprise Mobility Management
• Leads the design and management of centralized mobility expertise, equipped with functional experts with the capability to provide SLA driven support for all EGA functions to facilitate business operations
• Together with the business leaders, devises the Enterprise Mobility Strategy for EGA in line with the corporate objectives and strategy
• Develops and continuously updates mobility architecture & standards aligned with Enterprise IT architecture and standards
Enterprise Mobility Tools
• Introduces latest business mobile technology with a view to easing user experience and ensure security of information and transactions
Communication and Networking
• Ensure effective coordination and communication with all internal and external entities (such as EGA business units, vendors, suppliers, service providers etc) with highest standards of business ethics, in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner
People Management
• Supervises the activities and work of subordinates by providing formal and informal feedback to ensure that all work within the enterprise mobility section is carried out in an efficient manner and in accordance with set individual targets
Safety, Quality & Environment
• Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the section in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
• Related Assignments
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• 6-8 years’ experience in implementation and maintenance of BI applications preferably with a large manufacturing organization with at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
• A proven track record of successful project management in the relevant field
